Class 1. Horned ram (Aged).

Class 2. Shearling ram (Horned).

Class 3. Horned ram lamb.

Class 4. Heath going ewe. Must have suckled a lamb this year.

Class 5. Horned shearling ewe. Heath going.

Class 6. Horned gimmer lamb.

Class 7. Blue Faced Leicester Shearling Ram

Class 8. Blue Faced Leicester Ram Lamb

Class 9. Mule Ewe. Must have suckled a lamb this year

Class 10. Mule Shearling

Class 11. Mule Gimmer Lamb

Class 12. Terminal sire

Class 13. Ewe. Any other breed

Class 14. Butchers Lamb

Class 15. Pair matching sheep

Class 16. Pen of five mule Gimmer lambs

Class 17. Young handler (aged 16 or under)

Prizes :- 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1. Entry Fees :- 1 per animal.

Championship Trophy given by Mr. & Mrs. M. B. Flatman. Rosettes for Champion and Reserve. The Nancy Dickinson Memorial Cup, awarded to the Exhibitor with the most points in the Sheep Classes. J. Tallentire Memorial Trophy for Champion Swaledale. Elizabeth Ayrton Memorial Cup donated by Mr Thomas Ayrton, best horned gimmer lamb(Class 6). Salver presented by Mr. J. Hughes for the best young handler (aged 16 and under) in the Sheep Classes. Special 5 Prizes for the best group of horned sheep (1 male and 2 females). Cup presented by Merit Feeds & Storage for the best exhibitor bred sheep.

All entries with the exception of Classes 1,7,9,10,12,13 to be bred by the exhibitor. All sheep to be penned by 9.45 a.m. Judging 10:00 a.m. All animals to remain at the Show field until 3:30pm

HAY CLASS

Class 1. Conventional hay bale. Home Produced.
